Every beginning needs support. The unpressurised HEAD STAGE 3 RED is the perfect ball for children between 5 and 8 who are taking their first steps on the tennis court. It is significantly softer, larger and 75% slower than a normal tennis ball. This makes it much easier to hit, the reaction time is longer and tennis is simply more fun with it. Thanks to its two-coloured felt (red and yellow), it is also easier for children to see. Developed together with coaches and children, the STAGE 3 RED is perfect for the small ITF court (11m x 5-6m). The ball is part of HEAD's STAGE programme, a unique training programme that helps young players learn the sport the right way from the start. The programme was developed as part of the "Tennis Play and Stay!" Campaign of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
