Low-cut for high speeds This design sits lower on the court for an incredibly lightweight feel during quick movements and explosive changes of direction. Full speed ahead An Air Zoom element in the forefoot provides cushioning at impact and helps you reach the laser at the baseline or suddenly approach the net. The cushioned midsole provides support without adding unnecessary weight. The elastic inner shoe wraps your foot for a sock-like fit. Lightweight and breathable Durable mesh keeps your feet pleasantly cool. The inside of the mesh is reinforced where you need extra support. The outside has a thin, flexible coating for added durability. Ready for the red clay For the first time in 50 years, we have developed a ground-breaking technology for clay courts that goes beyond the traditional herringbone pattern. Lateral grip makes it easier to start and stop changes of direction. Targeted, denser patterns in the medial forefoot and midfoot provide traction and grip. The wide lateral traction pattern allows you to slide in a controlled manner. Tested on clay courts We used traction maps, pressure maps and analyzed clay accumulations to design and place geometries to create the ideal traction pattern in the outsole. In addition, we tested it on clay courts in Europe in various clay court conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry) to provide the best possible sanding experience on the court. The herringbone outsole features a data-driven design for the best grip without compromising your ability to slide. The rubber has been removed in less exposed areas to keep weight to a minimum.
